Long ago, Prince Adam was turned into a beast by an enchantress when he refused to give her shelter in his castle. This curse would only be broken when the Beast finds love. During the story 'Beauty and the Beast', he behaves angry and stubborn, yet he is also able to show his kind side. The Beast does show empathy for others, but he needs to overcome his personal flaws first.
