Princess Leia, also known as General Organa and whose full name is Leia Skywalker Organa Solo, is the important political and military leader of the Resistance in the Star Wars universe. She was born as the Force-sensitive daughter of Padmé Amidala and Anakin Skywalker and the twin sister of Luke Skywalker. As a baby, she was adopted by Bail Organa, the head of Alderaan’s Royal Family, which gave her the title of princess. Leia devoted her life to the restoration of democracy and the opposition against authoritarian regimes. During the Imperial Era, Leia served the Alliance to Restore the Republic and eventually adopted the rank of general in the Resistance during the era of the First Order. She married Han Solo and together they had one son, Ben. Leia has always had an incredibly busy life and therefore doesn’t have much time to meet her fans.
