Emperor Palpatine
Background
Palpatine, the Emperor of the Galactic Empire used to be a Senator going by the name of Sheev Palpatine. He grew his power by manipulating others around him. He used the front of a nice politician but secretly headed the Sith all along as Darth Sidious. It is through his cleverness, ambition, and expertise in the dark side that he becomes a heartless emperor who engineers the downfall of the Jedi Order and the formation of the Galactic Empire.
