She was born as Wanda Maximoff and raised in Sokovia together with her twin brother Pietro. HYDRA made her an enhanced person and gave her powers like telepathy and telekinesis. She is rather introvert and emotionally fragile but has a caring personality with a strong will to protect the people she loves and innocent citizens. Her many powers, like the ability to fire red energy blasts, gave her the hero name Scarlet Witch. Despite never having received a training, she uses Chaos Magic and gets stronger and more powerful through experience.
