Miguel Rivera is the 12-year-old aspiring musician in Disney Pixar’s Coco. He struggles against his family’s generations-old ban on music and doing so, he eventually finds himself in the realm of the dead during the Dia de Los Muertos holiday. Miguel has an ear for music and taught himself how to play guitar. He wanted to find his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz, but in the end found his great-grandfather, a true musician. Miguel is still young and can’t make lots of appearances in Disney parks, but likes to appear there now and then.
