Mary Poppins is practically perfect in every way. Brought to life for the first time in 1964 by the Oscar winning actress Julie Andrews, Mary has made regular appearances in Disney Parks ever since. She rode carousel horses in many parades in Tokyo, Hong Kong and California on top of starring on Broadway and West End in a musical based on her story. Although we still have to find photographic proof of this, we heard that she even used to fly over Disneyland’s Sleeping Beauty castle before the nightly fireworks in the 1960s.
