Scrooge McDuck
Background
Scrooge McDuck has always been an institution in Duckburg, but it was only in 1947 that he started to get popular in thanks to a comic strip from Duckburg. In September 1987 the series Ducktales premiered and the stories of Scrooge taking care of his three Nephews and taking them on adventures touched the world in a special way. He then started to appear in parades, shows and Disney on Ice. He still meet his fans as often as his busy schedule allows.
